Service Packet

Service Packet

The Service Packet functions as your shopping cart, holding all the services you have selected for purchase. It is represented by a box icon located beneath each service in the marketplace, and can also be accessed on the right side of your screen.

Service Tags

Service Tags

Service Tags are relevant keywords associated with each service. Clicking on one of these tags will immediately direct you to related services. You can find these tags below the search bar in the marketplace, as well as at the top of individual service pages. Use the "Show more" or "Show less" buttons to expand or collapse the list of tags.

Navigator

Navigator

The Navigator acts as your central menu to seamlessly move through the MetaXD Ecosystem (MetaXD, CrowdxDigital, and CrowdXD). You can open the Navigator by clicking the MetaXD icon in the top-left corner of the webpage.

Category Filter

Category Filter

The Category Filter displays all the distinct clusters within MetaXD. When you select a specific cluster, the system automatically filters and displays all the services that belong to that group.

Phase 1: Exploration & Selection (The Marketplace)

The entry point is the digital marketplace. Here, the user gets an overview of the available offerings and selects the digital services needed for their project.

Browsing: The user navigates through categories such as “Construction Manufacturing Automation” or “Digital Transformation” and sees various service tiles (e.g. “BIM Services,” “Strategic Consulting,” “GIS Services”).

Service package: By clicking the package icon, the user adds relevant services to their personal service package, which remains permanently visible as a sidebar on the right.

Trigger: By clicking “Customize Request” in the service package, the user starts the checkout process for the RFQ. → Create Request

With the assembled service package, the user creates a request. Via “Customize Request,” they can specify their requirements and start the request for quotation (RFQ).

Phase 2: Your request for quotation in 4 steps

Our proven digital solutions and our network of experts simplify complex processes. They increase your efficiency, promote sustainability, and help your project reach its goal faster.

Step 1: Project details (The framework):

Clarifying the basic conditions. So we can find exactly the right experts for you, we need your core information in the first step. Under “Request Details,” you simply enter the following:

Your customer details: Who are you and how can we reach you? (Name, company, email, phone number, and address). Tip: If you already have an account with us, you can conveniently select an existing profile here.

Your project details: The key facts about your project (title, location, address, and a short description). These details are essential for identifying the ideal talent for you.

Step 2: Service Configurator (The Details)

Bring your services into focus. Here, you specify each selected service in detail (such as “BIM Management” or “Strategic Consulting”). You have two options:

Proven templates: Make it easy for yourself by selecting a suitable template from the dropdown menu, with our recommended default settings for standard requirements.

Custom adjustments: Add specific requirements manually or flexibly adapt the templates to reflect your project in a tailored way.

Step 3: Additional Information (Your Documents & Notes)

Provide important context. The more we know about your project, the more accurately our experts can estimate the required effort. Use this section to complete the full picture for us:

Documents: Easily upload important files such as requirement specifications, plans, or BIM models via drag and drop.

Free text (Notes): A large text field gives you space for any additional details and comments that did not fit into the previous steps.

Step 4: Summary (Review & Submit)

Check everything and get started. Take one final look at your information. In the clear summary, you can review your request details (customer and project data), the exact service configuration, and your uploaded documents all at a glance. Everything looks right? With one click on “Send,” you complete your request and securely hand the project over to us.

Phase 3: Status of Quote Preparation

What happens behind the scenes after you click “Send”? Here, we give you a transparent insight into our workflow steps:

Received – We have received your request

Your request has safely reached us. Our project coordination team is notified immediately and reviews your documents. You can relax—the process has started.

Quality Check – We review your requirements

We take a close look at your project. An experienced project manager checks whether all the necessary information is available for precise implementation and how we can realize your project in the best possible way.

Expert Search – We find the perfect match

Now it’s getting specific: Based on your request, we create a tailored requirement profile and search our digital talent network for the perfect experts. As soon as we find the ideal talent for your requirements, we reserve them for your project.

Processing – We prepare your quote

We put together the optimal package for you. In doing so, we structure your project into clear milestones and work packages. The result: you receive not only a fair price, but also a transparent project plan with the best combination of expertise right away.

Quote Available – Your project can begin!

Your quote is ready, and you will receive a brief notification from us. In your dashboard, you can review the final document at your own pace, download it as a PDF, or accept it digitally right away. With one click on “Accept,” your quote is immediately converted into an active project.

Quote Revised – Your update is here (optional)

Did you share any change requests regarding the initial quote? No problem. As soon as we have incorporated your feedback and made the necessary adjustments, we will provide you with the updated version here.
