This integration connects Siemens COMOS with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and addresses the need for standardized, automated document handling in engineering workflows. Inconsistent file naming, manual versioning, and uploads often lead to inefficiencies and errors. The solution ensures that document names are automatically generated according to customer-specific rules, including unique counters per project and document type. Files are uploaded to defined ACC repositories by a background service without user intervention. This architecture enables reliable and scalable integration by automatically updating COMOS objects with ACC links and upload status via the COMOS REST API.
